Why campers love it here
About this site
Mount Pleasant Farm is a five pitch Caravan and Motorhome Club CL on Meltham Road at Honley, roughly three miles down the valley from Holmfirth in West Yorkshire. It stands on the northern shoulder of the Peak District, with wide views and the Pennine Way within reach, which is why walking tourers keep coming back. Honley village has a train station and everyday shops, Holmfirth of Last of the Summer Wine fame is a quick drive for cafes and pubs, and the national park moors rise just to the south. The pitches sit on a lawned, gently sloping plot, so levelling blocks earn their keep, and each has a 10 amp electric hook up plus Wi-Fi and good television reception. There is no toilet or shower block, so a self contained van is the way to stay at Mount Pleasant Farm. Dogs are accepted by prior arrangement, so flag yours when you book. In feel it is a calm, grown up base for couples and walkers rather than a family park with play equipment. The site stays open the year round for club members, with pitches arranged directly with the owners by phone.
