About this site

Cobwebs is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site in the village of Chidham, on the Chichester Harbour coast of West Sussex. It is a short drive from Bosham and about 7 miles from Chichester, with the South Downs National Park close enough for a day trip if you fancy the hills instead of the water. Cobwebs takes touring caravans, motorhomes and small campervans on grass pitches, some with electric hook-up and some without, within the Club's usual small-site limits. This is a members-only CS, so it suits Camping and Caravanning Club members after a quiet, sheltered coastal pitch rather than anyone wanting to turn up without a membership card. There is a designated dog walk on site, and you can fish nearby with a valid licence if you have packed a rod. What makes Cobwebs stand out is the coastal setting: sheltered, low-key and genuinely close to Chichester Harbour, with a pub or takeaway and a bus stop within a mile for those who would rather not drive every day. Prices run from £20 to £25 a night, booked through the Club's own system.
