5 man tent (for more pictures please see http://www.campingsitesinbritain.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=179 - you will need to copy and paste the code in your internet broswer. Key benefits - All sown in (keeps out wind rain and bugs) - Ability to stand up in (through out the tent) - One bedroom (can be split into two with a divider) - Great size living compartment (great for when its raining) - Two large front windows and two large ceiling windows (allows plenty of light in, making the tent bright and cheery). - Hydrostatic Head 3000 (waterproof level recommend level for Britain is 1500). It is a pretty expensive tent to purchase but all the above make it a pretty decent tent. The tent in my opinion would be too small for five people for a long holiday, two adults and two children would be fine, or five adults on a weekend break the tent would be suitable. The tent is pretty easy to put up (even in wind and rain) and once you have got the tent up the first time, leave the bedrooms in place when taking down, still fits in the bag but next time you have one less thing to worry about. There is the option to turn the front door into a canopy great to get that bit of extra space, problem is the tent doesn’t come with any poles, either you would have to buy them (usually around £10) or take them from your old tent. There are some nice little features in the tent, there’s some built in storage in the main living area to keep those essential items at easy reach and also the usual bedroom storage compartments which is seen on most tents. Would recommend using the side door when the weather is nice, allows more storage space in the tent. I would rate the tent a 4/5. The price is what is letting it down but when you buy a Vango a tent you are paying for the quality and the peace of mind that you’re not going to get wet (see re waterproofing tips, Ask the Expert Page).
